They heard of them they just don't want to play the guitars their fathers or Grandfathers played. Well the Strat is 55 years old. I would not mind having
one of those at all. ANYONE LISTENING OUT THERE?

jeeze 55..i be old...that means i was 9 when they came out, got my first sears guitar at 12..
now i have an old Gib b-25 circa 68(?)

I would not let you do that Barb as they go for around $50,000 in nice original shape. Some 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard's with nice flame maple tops are fetching $250,000. Old guitars made in the USA are one of the few things that are highly collectable and wanted by people all over the world. 1945 Martin D-45's are the holy grail and are around $500,000 in
nice original shape.
